Spending time in nature is an important part of my recovery. I love to be outdoors and appreciate the wide-open spaces in this corner of Canada. Come for a walk through the woods with me. It will take all summer to build this trail but here’s what I’ve done so far…. Thanks for all the great suggestions - I’m incorporating as many as possible and it makes me feel connected with all of you! (Oops forgot to add the fairy houses…there are fairy houses, too!)
I’m clearing a trail through the woods for our little grandsons to enjoy when they visit. The plan is to create whimsical surprises along the way, and places to sit or play. So far I have a lot of ideas, branch piles, and mosquito bites. Suggestions? I know, I know, Pinterest, but I want to hear what you think. What would delight you on a walk through the woods? A labyrinth, perhaps, or buried treasure? A xylophone strapped to a tree? A climbing rope? A tent with pillows and books? Did you have a special nature hideout as a kid? Would you like one as an adult?
Working on the final season of The Bubble Hour. Thank you for your patience. It’s a massive retrospective project and I’m taking my sweet time. It will be worth the wait, I promise!
Making our path a little more magical by weaving saplings into archways. A morning well spent.
